'Growing in Love' features a collection of embroidered fabrics that provide a distinctive approach to bridal wear by incorporating colour through natural dyeing of avocados. Additionally, delicate embroidery processes such as, hand–beading and goldwork cutwork and chipping, have been used to replicate the beauty of mushrooms. This provides an alternative to the typical floral imagery seen on wedding dresses, identifying the collection’s unique selling point.
 

Mushrooms form complex networks underground; this supplied a metaphoric meaning behind the bridal collection to represent the deeper layers and networks of love.
